ArtERY was established by Arts Council of England Yorkshire (ACEY) and East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) in 2003 – both organisations fund ArtERY to present high quality, professional companies in community venues in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

ArtERY cinema successfully obtained awards from Screen Yorkshire, Awards For All Lottery programme and East Riding of Yorkshire Council and in its first year screened almost 100 films in rural venues in East Riding.

Blaize have a service agreement with East Riding of Yorkshire Council to managing ArtERY, developing the service to villages and market towns and providing a menu of artists and companies to performance in local venues.  The recent successful touring cinema initiative, raised funds for equipment and co-ordination of the scheme and is popular in the area with sixty films programmed since last autumn.
